About Me

Exercise has always been something that brings balance to my life. Finding the gym early on I knew it was going to be a big part of who I am.

Life changes a lot, a constant desire to chase endorphins and feel the challenge of something new and physical remains. I've dabbled in many things but running has always been the one I keep coming back to. I love the slow but guaranteed progress you make with commitment and consistency.

I've raced everything from 5ks to ultras, won races in the mountains, 50 milers along the coastline, and everything in between. One thing which has enabled me to do so is the emphasis I place on gym and strength work, a large portion of my own training is centred around muscular endurance and the ability to limit fatigue under stress.

Getting into training other people is, selfishly, an extension of being able to indulge further in sport and fitness myself. Making a living out of a passion is all you can ask for. and helping others find their version of that feeling is what makes it worth it.

My training philosophy comes down to four things: specificity, progressive overload, patience and ambition. You need a plan built around you, the discipline to build gradually, the drive to keep pushing and the humility to trust the process even when it feels slow.

I'm a CIMSPA Level 2 & 3 Personal Trainer, UKA Run Leader, and First Aid trained.


And I love chocolate, hot, cold I’m not too picky…
